This article considered the structurally functional model of virtualization of the vital world constructed using the methodology of functional modeling. The aim of the work is to creature a model of the process of virtualization of the vital world of modern youth. The research is based on theoretical data and empirical indicators of the sociological research of graduate students of the Southern Federal University. The description and process of construct a model are determined by the phenomenon of human needs, self-identity. The results allow us to touch on the question of projecting a virtual life into a real one, which entails a change in everyday life.

The relevance of researches of virtualization of the vital worlds of the modern person is proved. We updated the disintegration of the social reality in the various configurations of the local social experience in turbulence of the world risk society, the need not to choose, and to mediate between disparate cultures and values, moral relativism and spiritual crisis of identity. In Western social thought in the late ХХcentury. there are several theories that emphasize neotrazhatelnuyu, constructive nature of knowledge, its language and cultural-historical conditioning. Such ideas to the greatest extent, reflected in the direction of "constructivism in the broad sense", which refers to the paradigm of research in social sciences with its ontology, epistemology, methodology and ethics. The paper analyzes the methodological strategies of social theorists, who are representatives of this direction or express ideas in tune, reflecting the changing nature of cognitive situation of society in the modern world.
