Histogram analysis method application for the "body movement" sleep events search.
Incoming article date: 06.09.2013The paper details the application of the sleep events search algorithm based on "histograms analysis" method. The algorithm will be used for the "body movement" sleep event detection. This event search priority and actuality is caused by its close connection with other events, as will be discussed in more detail in the relevant section of the article. The main problems arising in this method usage and their solutions are described. Phased method structure is discloses, where each phase is represented as a separate item with detailed comments. A comparative analysis of the results obtained with the automatic search with pre-spaced events manually is made. Conclusion on the basis of the experiment and recommendations for further method development are made.
