  • Formation of structural links in argillit-like clay clays Sochi-Formation in Sochi

    The article is devoted to identify the causes of specific behavior argillit-like clay clays Sochi suites at bid opening and interaction with water. The article outlines the history of rock formation, from the deposition of the primary clay material on the bottom of the sedimentation basin to convert it into a highly lithified argillaceous rocks, generating mechanism contacts between the clay particles and the type of contacts formed.

  • Integrated into clothing electrodes for ECG recording

    We consider the design of reusable electrodes for long-term ECG monitoring integrated into clothing. Investigated high and low frequency distortion introduced the proposed electrode system. The comparison with the standard disposable electrodes for Holter ECG monitoring. It is shown that the electrodes in the frequency band 0.5-40 Hz quality as disposable.

  • Formation exact self-similar solution of the problem of hydrodynamic thrust bearing calculation, which has a higher load capacity and damping properties, working on a two-layer lubrication in the transient regime of friction

    In this paper is presented a method of forming an exact self-similar solution of the problem of calculating the hydrodynamic thrust bearing with an adapted profile support surface and emfiruyuschimi properties in the transient regime of friction. Prepared and conducted evaluation of the main working characteristics: dimensionless load carrying capacity, dimensionless friction force and dimensionless costs. The optimal parameters for the main performance are gotten.

  • Silent interval detection in speech signals

    A voice activity detector (VAD) is a device, which analyses a speech signal and generates the signal corresponding to the period containing only noise. In the present work is offered VAD, which increases the probability of correct detection the presence or absence of human speech.
    The correct detection begins with SNR 7-10 dB. The quality of  derived speech signal remains the same.

  • Issues of case-based reasoning, detalization, integration and similarity assessment of cases

    Case is an event that took place in the past and can be an example for similar steps in present. Case-based reasoning (CBR) is a methodology of finding a decision based on previous experience. The main difficulties in CBR are recognition of present situation of decision-making and finding similar case in the past. Making a decision in the field of purchasing drugs is a quite difficult and many-valued task with a plenty of various parameters, which however might be solved with the help of CBR. CBR is an important and perspective area of artificial intelligence (AI) decision support systems. Constantly growing research amount has already led to breakthroughs in theoretical part of AI and in AI-based applications. The general case model and formula for determining cases similarity is suggested in this work. Application of the formula will help determine similarity of cases and make the better decision.

  • Methods for modeling the stress-strain state to determine residual life of reinforced concrete console spillway under various boundary conditions

    This article discusses methods of modeling the stress- strain state needed to evaluate the different boundary conditions of the technical state of reinforced concrete cantilever operated long spillway. Most long- operated hydraulic structures in Russia is unsatisfactory condition requiring modernization and refurbishment. After a long period of operation waterworks continue to work without a planned repairs necessary to make the technical reconstruction of buildings on the basis of innovation , as well as previously proven technology of repair. Console spillway - open conjugating hydraulic structure where the water first moves over the construction , and then - the water flow freely reset to unfortified ground. Such structures the most economical , since the same difference befov their reinforced concrete part of a much smaller, and no part of the stilling strengthened and basically they are arranged on the rocky soil . When soils are weak, then you must make the console damper on long distance or strengthen easily eroded soil in the fall of the water flow. In the most dangerous cases falling from the absorber fed to a stilling well, for energy dissipation , from which he subsequently moved away from the building. Assessed the degree of accident risk of reinforced concrete elements console spillway . In the experiment sought to identify the residual resource , namely the reliability of the technical state of facilities for the period of operation, more than 60 years , in different types of defects and damages , as well as the estimated residual life .   • Evaluating the effectiveness of real estate financing in Russia

    The article includes the theoretical aspects of real estate financing, lenders' and borrowers' risks in construction lending. There is information about the analysis of real estate financing in the Russian Federation according to the CBR and FSGS. The results demonstrated a "revival" in construction lending in Russia, reducing the arrears borrowers’ construction sector and identified the benefits of bank lending to construction companies

  • SYSTEM ENGINEERING OF OPTIMAL DESIGN OF ELEMENTS OF STRUCTURAL UNITS

    Possibilities of using mathematical programming methods for obtaining optimal solutions of structural units were shown herein. Method of personal optimization based on monotonicity property of the used relations was applied as optimization algorithm. Advisability of using mathematical simulation methods when providing complex safety of construction facilities and reduction of breakdown occurrence is emphasized.

  • Тhermointense condition of designs taking into account the jamming in the basis and the pliability of end faces

    The main maintenance of a  results of calculation of a thermointense condition of beams depending on various ways of an attachment to the basis - jammed in the basis, with absolutely hard sealing-off on end faces and absence of any communications at end faces is considered. The analysis shows, that the more age of "blocks-communications", the more they possess rigidity. It means, that they are less pliable, and sizes of pressure in the settlement block are close to pressure in the block with the jammed end faces.

  • Social Technologies: Development Trends

    The article analyses the processes of social life technologization, their role in the development of contemporary society and mankind as a whole. The main trends in the development of social technologies are described in the article. Special attention is given to the scientific approach, the use of scientific methods in the technologization of social actions, the modeling of social processes and technification of social work. The article is of a research nature because it identifies the main problems of a research subject associated with various aspects of social technologies and their potential application in social life. It explores the use of both universal and specific social technologies; explores their phasing and sequencing. The article proves the impact of knowledge of theoretical aspects of social technologies on research in sociology and social philosophy, as well as the practical application of social technologies, allowing one to use their research capacity in social practice.

  • Structure analysis of carbon nanotubes by electron microscopy and electron diffraction

    In this work we have investigated the structure of individual single-walled and multi-walled carbon nanotubes by high-resolution electron microscopy and electron diffraction. To grow carbon nanotubes we used a catalytic chemical vapor deposition method. It was shown, that this synthesis protocol gave in general single-walled and double-walled carbon nanotubes with a high level of crystallinity. The diameters of the nanotubes were in the range 1.5 - 7 nm. We also observed that there was a certain level of amorphous carbon deposited on the nanotube surface during the growth. In this work we also present the structure analysis of the double-walled carbon nanotube by means of electron diffraction. We show that the structural date derived from electron microscopy and electron diffraction agree within the experimental error.

  • The program module for solving the problem of selecting the best carrier in transport logistics

    The atricle considers the problem of finding the best carrier. It describes by the expert method of solving the problem, as well as an algorithm for selecting a carrier. Describes a software module implemented with the involvement of technology ActiveX, which greatly simplifies the process and reduces the development time of projects. The proposed application allows you to define a list of the best carriers, ranked by rating according to the user's request.

  • The Methodology of Justification of Ekologo-Economic Rehabilitation of the Degraded Agrolandscapes of the South of the European Part of Russia

    In the conditions of market economy economic using of agrolandscapes of the South of the European part of Russia isn't focused on the rigid rules' and norms' observance of the nature protection actions providing the protection of land resources from the degraded processes, therefore the problem of degraded agrolandscapes' improvement is quite actual.
    In this article the author discovers the methodology of the degraded agrolandscapes rehabilitation and notes that it is possible either due to implementation of the nature protection actions directed on already caused damage's elimination or by the financial investments direсted on future ekologo-economic losses' decreasing.

  • Integral robust features based technique for optical identification of railway vehicles

    Identification of railway vehicles is relevant for the conversion from automatic control systems with manual data input to automatic modeling environment of train and vehicle. The most effective and economic inventory number recognition is optical recognition. But there is question about veracity in such technology. This paper represent the qualitatively new approach for optical recognition based on building integral robust constructive features of vehicles and allowed to significantly increase level of recognition veracity. Proposed technique investigated in introduction subject of automatic vehicle number recognition system (ARNV).  Computational experiments demonstrated relevance of proposed technique for using in optical recognition of vehicle numbers.

  • Essentially-objective description of services of military purpose

    Reviews the basic content of the service for military purposes, as a separate type of services aimed at ensuring the military security of the state and playing a considerable role in both the military and civilian sectors of the economy. Based on the analysis of normative-legal documents of the Federal level proposed a definition of the services of military purpose. Classification of defense articles, defense services rendered under the state defense order in accordance with the modern paradigm of marketing services. During the study concluded that the set of services of military purpose has all the characteristics of services, which will continue to develop organizational and economic mechanisms of maintenance of innovative development of services in the field of military security.

  • Use vegetative index in equipment for therapy hypertension

    The paper describes the principles of the use of audiovisual stimulation for the treatment of hypertension is shown. Proposed to increase the effectiveness of therapy to use feedback on the state of the patient , which controls the frequency of audio-visual stimuli , depending on the magnitude of blood pressure and the vegetation index.
