  • Improvement of the algorithm for automated formation of solutions for the production of construction works based

    The work is aimed at improving the algorithm of automated formation of solutions for the production of construction works based on the combinatorial approach. The essence of the approach is to form all feasible solutions for the production of construction works, taking into account the specified resources and constraints, and choosing the best option according to the specified criteria. At the same time, at some stages of the generation of altenatives, it is advisable to eliminate obviously losing options, in particular, it is proposed to take into account the losses from downtime of workers and construction machines formed due to some difference in the total productivity of workers and construction machines when forming the composition of resources for performing mechanized construction work. The proposed algorithm assumes the choice of the composition of resources for performing a mechanized technological process with minimal losses from idle resources.

  • Acceptance of work on engineering and geological surveys for basic technical indicators in the presence of specific soils

    In connection with new trends in design and construction, customers and expertise began to introduce new requirements for engineering and geological surveys. The article discusses the main indicators of acceptance of works on engineering and geological surveys for compliance with the customer's technical specifications, the main technical indicators and results of control and acceptance of works that meet the requirements of the joint venture and receive a positive expert opinion. It is indicated what characteristics of deformation characteristics, in the presence of specific soils, must be obtained by static and field tests. Shown is the sampling of soil to control the homogeneity and conditions of the soil, after testing. Based on the test results, determine the deformation moduli of clay soils in a water-saturated state. It is concluded that modern standards in the field of engineering and geological surveys will undergo changes taking into account the requirements of global trends, implying a more detailed detailing of soil models suitable for a particular situation, which will undoubtedly entail new requirements for equipping laboratories and and to the professional skills of engineers.

  • Factors determining the conditions of the separation process realization in inertial louver separators

    The article considers the issues of the enhancement of the reliability of highly efficient cleaning of ventilation and technological dust-and-gas emissions in intensive apparatuses for wet gas cleaning by means of the investigation of the process of drop liquid separation from the cleaned gas flow and through the development of suggestions for design and technological improvements of inertial louver mist eliminators which are a part of gas cleaning equipment and are believed to have the highest potential.

  • Features and weaknesses of the construction organization project in the conditions of renovation

    Renovation refers to the process of improvement, reconstruction, restoration without destroying the integrity of the structure. For data collection, civil buildings located on the territory of Moscow are accepted and pass the Moscow State Examination. According to the long-term experience of passing the relevant instances, it was revealed that the Renovation Fund and the state expertise have comments on the same requirements, which encourages us to consider this stage, systematizing the comments received in order to highlight those aspects that the designer needs to pay more attention to.

  • Optimization of foam concrete mixture ratio using the Box-Wilson experimental plan

    This article presents the effect of mixing water and mineral additives on the mechanical properties of foam concrete. All materials used in this study are from Vietnam. The effect of water and mineral additives on foam concrete's mechanical properties was studied using the Box-Wilson method. Mechanical properties of foam concrete at the age of 28 days were determined according to GOST 10180-2012. The results obtained are second-order regression equations, which describes the dependence of the compressive and flexural strength of foam concrete on the content of water and mineral additives. The optimal composition of foam concrete mixtures was obtained using materials from Vietnam. Based on the results of this study, in the future, the author will continue to study the properties of foam concrete as thermal insulation properties, water absorption, permeability, modulus of elasticity, structural porosity, etc.

  • Increasing the shear and load-bearing capacity of the ice-resistant gravity platform

    The results of theoretical research and analysis of methods that will significantly reduce the weight of the gravity oil platform are presented. At the same time, its static, dynamic, and shear stability will remain under the influence of wind, wave, ice load and current load. In order to reduce the weight and overall dimensions, it is proposed to outline the lower part of the platform base with a metal sheet pile wall. As a result of theoretical studies, the dependence of the shear force under the influence of external forces acting on the platform during operation on the physical and mechanical properties of the soil and the size of the sheet pile wall is found, which will significantly reduce the weight of the platform and the cost of its construction.

  • Specificities of the compressive strength control of the steel fiber reinforced concrete in existing constructions

    The article is devoted to the determination specificities of the actual compressive strength of the steel fiber concrete in existing buildings. The experimental studies results of an erecting mall constructions are presented. The monolithic fiber-reinforced concrete ground floor slabs were tested using three different destructive and non-destructive methods. The obtained results were analyzed. The high correlation (rdm-apo=0,855) of the steel-fiber reinforced concrete strength values obtained by the samples destruction and by the anchor pull out method was confirmed. The presented experimental studies results contribute to the statistical information accumulation on the issue of the actual strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete determination in full-scale constructions of erected buildings.

  • The use of statistical methods to determine the quality of the construction of trunk pipelines in the regions of the Far North

    The theme of the work is dedicated to the problem of quality assessment of constructing of a linear part of the main pipeline in the extreme north. Constructing of objects in permafrost areas is related to extra activity about maintenance of efficiency of the pipeline system. Extra difficulty while constructing of a linear part of the main pipeline is caused by tougher requirements for regulatory documentation to the work performed. These facts colour quality assessment of the object to be constructed. The task is developing a method of the quality assessment of construction and installation works that responds to the parameters of data collecting speed and calculation simplicity. During the developing of the a method of the quality assessment of a linear part of the main pipeline the method of analytical hierarchy process was used, for getting the nomenclature of the most important jobs from the perspective of the safety of the object. Methods in mathematical statistics was used for processing of the results of the measurement made. Hypothesis testing method allowed receiving the confidence interval for the sample of random variables. Practical benefit of the work is obtaining the method of the quality assessment, which allows to make conclusions about the quality of objects constructing using publicly available data on the work process.

    The article presents the relevance, main principles, goals and results of the risk-based approach in the activities of the state construction control units on the example of the experience of the Main Department of State Construction Supervision in the Moscow region. The authors describe the methods, methods and modern technologies used by the Main Department of State Construction Supervision in the Moscow Region to implement the goals and objectives that allow improving the quality of control and supervision activities, taking into account the use of a risk-based approach.

  • Natural factors taken into account in the reconstruction of roads

    The article discusses the natural factors that should be taken into account when designing highways. The following factors have a significant impact on the design of roads: terrain, engineering-geological and hydrogeological structure, climate, etc. The variety of natural factors is taken into account comprehensively in the design. They also take into account the negative impact of road construction on the environment. The terrain has an impact on fundamental engineering decisions, the volume of construction work, and ultimately not only on the construction cost of the highway and transport operating costs. In relation to the design of roads, there are five categories of terrain according to the complexity of road construction. Depending on the geological conditions, sometimes an extension of the highway route is used or expensive engineering measures are provided. It should be borne in mind that the use of the latest materials, road structures and new techniques for the production of construction areas is becoming less and the problems of seasonality of road reconstruction are becoming less relevant.

  • Analysis of the normative calculation for the formation of cracks in flexible reinforced concrete racks at different stress-strain states of structures

    The results of experimental studies on the formation of cracks in reinforced concrete racks of two slenderness λh = 10 and 20, tested at three eccentricities of load application e0 = 0; 2.0cm (0.16h) and 4.0cm (0.32h). On the basis of the experimental data and the results of calculations on the formation of cracks, it was found that the values ​​of the theoretical moments of cracking of the experimental compressed elements differ significantly from the experimental ones. An analysis was made of the influence of the eccentricity of the load application and the flexibility of the samples on the convergence of the theoretical and experimental moments of cracking in the samples, and the possible reasons for the change in the bearing capacity of the samples were also considered.

  • Methodology for the numerical experiment of laying headers under motorways in a closed way

    The methodology of numerical experiment of laying with closed method by methods of horizontal-directional drilling, brown-screw drilling, forcing, microtonneling has been developed. Some features of the construction of cases for penetration by collectors under existing highways, including general information about the used materials of the cases, are given. A selection of controlled factors and experiment planning, system stability check, results reliability analysis was performed.

  • Problems associated with the lack of construction control when undergoing technical supervision. Lack of legislative basis and possible solutions of the situation

    This work considers the controversial situations in the field of construction control, technical supervision and оbtaining a commissioning permit. The problematic situation, in which there was no (partially or completely) construction control at the construction stage, is considered. The difficulties of obtaining a Conclusion on Compliance in a similar situation and appealing the decision of the technical supervision authorities in court are picked out. Poor elaboration of mechanisms for obtaining a Conclusion on Compliance in the absence of construction control is noted. The shortcomings of the existing document and the lack of a prescribed legal status of the construction and technical expertise are highlighted. The ways of solving the existing problem at the legislative level are offered. Amending the existing legislative framework, reforms of existing or creating new mechanisms for resolving problematic situations in the absence of construction control are suggested as the main solutions.

  • Low-oxygen wastewater treatment with granular activated sludge

    The article discusses the features of granular formation of activated sludge, operating according to the modified DEAMOX technology with nitrification, incomplete denitrification and anammox. Reverse denitrification and anammox are implemented in the same volume of the bioreactor under anoxic-anaerobic conditions with a vertical flow of the sludge mixture. Anammox biomass mainly developed on stationary feed material, while the heterotrophic denitrifying activated sludge showed the ability to granulate up to 20 mm nominal diameter. The article discusses the effect of various temperature conditions on the size and stability of granules.

  • Experimental study of the direction-finding receiver of the centimeter range

    The design documentation was developed, the layout was made, and an experimental study of the direction-finding receiver was conducted. A functional diagram and a description of the design are given. The method of the experiment is given. Shows the achievement of the following parameters: operating frequency range: centimeter; the dynamic range of the signals at the entrance 48 dB; the duration of the received pulses is not less than 0.1 µs; the irregularity of amplitude-frequency characteristics of not more than 5 dB.
