The paper presents the current system of antitrust policy in the Russian Federation. Modern realities, expressed in increased international competition, globalization, and transition to innovative type of economy necessitate transformation of antitrust policy in competition policy. Identified limitations of this transformation related to the application of antitrust laws in the Russian practice.
