  • Research of heat and mass transfer during drying of conversion lime carbonate in a tube-dryer

    The article presents the results of researches of heat and mass transfer in the flow of the gas-suspension of conversion lime carbonate in a tube-dryer. For the first time equations for determining the influence of initial air temperature at moisture content in a tube-dryer, the influence of air temperature on heat rate are received. The research results can be used to design pipes-dryers for large-tonnage productions of conversion of calcium carbonate. Experiments of researches of heat and mass transfer in the flow of the gas-suspension of conversion lime carbonate were carried out on the tube-dryer with an internal diameter to 0.069 m, length 4.8 m. Along the axis of the pipe on the rod vertically mounted discs, the first disc below the auger to 0.6 m, the second – above the auger to 0.7 m and further 1 m, total 5 disks.

  • Investigation of the heat transfer in the refrigeration system with a heat pump supercomputers

    In this study, the task of optimizing the supercomputer CPU cooling system with a heat pump in the reverse Stirling cycle through numerical modeling of heat transfer processes in the test object The article presents numerical modeling of heat transfer processes in the cooling system of the supercomputer processors with a heat pump on the return cycle. We investigated the numerical model of heat transfer process in the system of CPU "cold" cylinder and heat pump system "hot cylinder" - coolant. As a result, obtained according to the thermal resistance of the system of CPU "cold" cylinder and heat pump system "hot cylinder" - coolant depending on the coefficient of heat transfer and on the value of COP of the heat pump

  • Effects of mechanical activation on the structure of ferroelectric materials after mechanoactivation

    The structure of synthesized ferroelectric samples of PbSc0.5Ta0.5O3 after mechanoactivation were studied by means of X-ray absorption spectroscopy(XANES), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Based on the combination of effective experimental methods and computer modeling of theoretical X-ray absorption spectra near the L3 - edge of tantalum and lead was studied character of structural distortions for investigated samples after mechanoactivation.

  • The method of economy of material resources at factories of the construction industry

    In the article the results of studying the experience of factories of the construction industry concluded that the production of products manufactured are loss of original building materials. The proposed method of elimination of losses and method of calculation of the amount of these losses. An algorithm is developed to determine the causes of losses, as well as recommendations on elimination of waste construction materials. The research results are recommended for practical application in the factories of the construction industry

  • Preconditions of occurrence, specificity and principles of formation of linear parks

    In the article the nascent type of linear environment objects of the city-linear park was considered. The peculiarities, specific features of this type, its structural elements, methods of formation and basic principles of construction are revealed. Also, it was revealed the need to use the synthesis of methods that ensure the complex formation of the linear park environment: the method of deep-spatial compositional connection of territories, the method of scenario-functional zoning, the method of creating a local brand and the method of eco-rehabilitation of the incoming territories. Comparison of linear parks with the closest prototype - traditional pedestrian streets is made, the structure-forming role of the landscape component in the design of linear parks is revealed. As a result of the research, the authors made conclusions concerning the study of the phenomenon of linear park, its role and place in environmental design, specificity, an important function in the city's eco-rehabilitation.

  • Calibration of machines with numerical program control by means of a laser tracker of VINTAG

    Results of the performed works at calibration of the metal-cutting machine are given in article. The technology of performance of control is considered. The conclusion in which it is noted that laser trackers including the measuring Vintag vehicle produced by Faro firm, possess high efficiency of the solution of problems of calibration is made. Their software has an opportunity to carry out processing of results of measurements and preparation of reports directly on the platform of performance of work and to give results on the place. To provide the accuracy of measurements of the spatial coordinates of 0.005-0.01 mm at distances to 10000-15000 mm. All these characteristics allow to recommend to machine-building enterprises use of such and similar measuring cars for the solution of problems of calibration of metal-cutting machines.

  • Studies of dustiness in a residential area located near industrial enterprises with PM10 and PM2.5 particles

    Air pollution in residential areas near industrial plants is one of the most significant problems of modern ecology. The resulting dust is one of the important factors in assessing the adverse impact on the environment. Studies show that the greatest danger to the human body is particles up to 10 microns in size. When analyzing the dispersion of dust in the residential and industrial areas, it is possible to estimate the percentage of particles PM10 and PM2.5 from the total amount that is necessary to effectively control the effects of dust on human health. The article gives a comparative analysis of the results of studies of the dispersion composition and dust concentration in the air of the working zone and the urban environment.

  • Transport problem according to the criterion of minimum total time and the modification of the method of Balinsky for its solution

    the formulated problem is a special case of the transportation problem with xed surcharges in which the value of the objective function affect only the time spent on the delivery of resources by the affected routes and do not affect the volumes of transported resources. A solution based on the linearization of the objective function is appropriate in cases of time constraints on finding a solution. Second, because of its relative simplicity, this solution can be used as a duplicate procedure (to determine the lower limit) to more complex, such as, combinatorial, algorithms for finding exact solution of the problem. Modification of the method of Balinsky is the sequential reduction of dimensionality of the original problem by eliminating rows or columns of the matrix of transportation in which the true costs match the costs of these tasks

  • Control device for surface transportation of marine robotic system in fog and rain conditions

    The article substantiates the necessity to address the effects of fog and rain when designing mobile robotic platforms and to define the fog numerical indicators and conditions of its occurrence. The common braking system structure and the working principle of brake disk drying through periodic rubbing of brake pads and disks are brought. The electrical diagram of brake control system with microcontroller and the fog and rain sensors and reliability analysis of this device are given. In a proposed control device operation algorithm the conditions of fog occurrence and the sensor parameters are considered. The algorithm is required to create a software system for mobile robotic platform.

  • ACTORS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT HOUSING STOCK LARGE CITIES

    The authors considers the sustainable development of the housing stock of a large city from the perspective of four factors: the energy efficiency of buildings under construction and reconstruction; capital repairs of apartment buildings, taking into account their energy requirements; the choice between the building and reconstruction on the criterion of resource costs; management of housing resources on the basis of the requirements of a comfortable stay of owners and improving the quality of exerting-proxy services in the housing sector. According to the authors, for the sustainable development of housing is necessary to apply energy saving modern building materials, products and structures and assess the life cycle of buildings in the choice of organizational and technical decisions on the demolition or renovation of buildings.

  • Solution of problem of automating the fruits and vegetables harvesting

    The article actualizes the issue of increasing farm labor efficiency through automation and the introduction of robotics. The study found that farms of various types have a need to automate the process of harvesting the crop, which determined further directions of analysis. The authors presented the overlook of the current state of the market of agricultural robots and identified its key players. Suggested the solution to automate the process of harvesting fruits and vegetables by the family of AgroMultiBot robots.

  • Displacement impact on the quality of water of the river Don

    The article analyzes the impact of displacement that taking place at the mouth of the Don River. This leads to a weakening self-cleaning process of water and increasing concentrations of contaminants. The basic sources of pollution of waters of the river Don and the main types of anthropogenic impact on the aquatic ecosystem. Cases of accidents in factories and transport, violation of wastewater treatment technology, as well as simply by negligence.The necessity of the control of non-periodic oscillations of water bodies located on them intakes, to prevent loss of quality drinking water supply. The main influence of these displacement prone city like Azov, Aksay, Bataisk and Rostov-on-Don. The conclusion about the necessity and the possibility of monitoring the state of the river Don, the organization without expensive continuous observation system with an extensive list of hydro-ecological indices.

  • Comparison of the ecological compatibility of steel and plastic waste fittings

    The article describes a partial solution to the problem of disposing of waste plastic as their use in the manufacture of fiberglass reinforcement. The comparison of the calculation of the foundation slab reinforcement using the class A-500S and fiberglass reinforcement with a thickness of 300 mm plate. From calculations that by recycling the plastic in the manufacture of fiberglass reinforcement observed economic benefits for the producer (cost of fiberglass reinforcement with the same thickness of the foundation plate 3 times less than steel), as well as environmental benefit for the planet, as this will help reduce the amount of plastic waste without recycling.
